O He Who Incarnated as Hayagrīva! Bestow Grace.

ஹயக்ரீவனாக அவதரித்தவனே! அருள்செய்

1369 வசையில்நான்மறைகெடுத்த அம்மலரயற்குஅருளி, முன்பரிமுகமாய் *
இசைகொள்வேதநூலென்றிவைபயந்தவனே! எனக்குஅருள்புரியே *
உயர்கொள்மாதவிப்போதொடுலாவிய மாருதம்வீதியின் வாய் *
திசையெல்லாம்கமழும்பொழில்சூழ் திருவெள்ளறை நின்றானே!

Simple Translation

1369. You who, taking the form of a horse, brought the Vedās and taught them to the sages when Nānmuhan, seated on a lotus had lost them stay in Thiruvellarai where a breeze blows though the tall Madhavi trees and spreads fragrance through all the streets and in the groves and in all directions. Give us your grace.

O Lord, You who mercifully reside in the sacred abode of Thiruveḷḷaṟai! In this divine place, a gentle breeze perpetually wanders through every street and in all directions, lovingly embracing the magnificent mādhavi trees.
