in the Bhārathā war and destroyed the heroic Kauravās
whose long spears were always smeared with blood,
and who filled Nānmuhan’s skull that was stuck to Shivā’s hand
with his blood and made it fall
stays happily in beautiful Pullambudangudi
where famous, patient, generous Vediyars
perform sacrifices with three fires and recite the Vedās.
