மலையதனால் அணைகட்டியவனே! அருள்செய்

1313 கல்லால்கடலை அணைகட்டி உகந்தாய்! *
நல்லார்பலர் வேதியர்மன்னியநாங்கூர்ச் *
செல்வா! * திருவெள்ளக்குளத்துஉறைவானே! *
எல்லாவிடரும் கெடுமாறு அருளாயே.

Simple Translation

1313. You who happily built a bridge of stones to go to Lankā stay in the Thiruvellakkulam temple in Nāngur where many Vediyars, learned in the Vedās live. Give me your grace and take away the troubles of my karmā.

கல்லால் கடலை — கல்லால் கடலில்; அணைகட்டி — அணைகட்டி; உகந்தாய்! — மகிழ்ந்தவனே!; நல்லார் பலர் — நல்ல பல; வேதியர் மன்னிய — அந்தணர் வாழும்; செல்வா! நாங்கூர் — செல்வா! திருநாங்கூரின்; திருவெள்ளக் குளத்து — திருவெள்ளக் குளத்தில்; உறைவானே! — இருப்பவனே!; எல்லா இடரும் — என்னுடைய துன்பங்களெல்லாம்; கெடுமாறு அருளாயே — தீரும்படி அருள் புரிவாயே!

kallāl — with rocks; kadalai — ocean; aṇai katti — built a bridge; ugandhāy — oh you who became joyful!; nallār — having the goodness named compassion; palar — many; vĕdhiyar — brāhmaṇas; manniya nāngūr — thirunāngūr where they remain firmly; thiruvel̤l̤ak kul̤aththu — in thiruvel̤l̤ak kul̤am; uṛaivānĕ — oh you who are eternally residing!; selvā — ŏh ṣrīmān! [one who has all the wealth]; ellā idarum — all sins; kedumāṛu — to be destroyed; arul̤āy — you should kindly shower your mercy.
