பாண்டவ தூதனானவன் உறைவிடம் இது

1304 மூத்தவற்குஅரசுவேண்டி முன்புதூதெழுந்தருளி *
மாத்தமர்பாகன்வீழ மதகரிமருப்புஒசித்தாய் *
பூத்தமர்சோலையோங்கிப் புனல்பரந்தொழுகும்நாங்கை *
காத்தனே! காவளந்தண்பாடியாய்! களைகண்நீயே.

Simple Translation

1304. O lord, you went to Duryodhanā's assembly as a messenger and asked for a part of the kingdom for the Pāndavās. You killed the mahout and broke the tusks of the angry elephant Kuvalayābeedam. You stay in Kāvalambādi in Nāngai where groves flourish and bloom with abundant flowers that spread their fragrance everywhere and the water of the Kāviri flows all over the land. Take away our troubles.

Oh, my Lord! You who once journeyed as a divine messenger, seeking to restore the kingdom to Dharma-putra, the eldest and most rightful heir! Oh, great hero, You who effortlessly caused the mighty mahout to fall to his death from the fearsome elephant Kuvalayāpīḍa, breaking its tusk as if it were a mere twig!
