Simple Translation

1253. Our highest lord who swallowed the whole world and lay on a banyan leaf when he was a baby and whom the Vedās could not follow and find stays in Thiruthevanārthohai in Nāngai where fish frolic in the large Mannai river and paddy fields flourish on its southern banks.

Detailed Explanation

The Supreme Lord, Sriman Nārāyaṇa, possesses a greatness so profound that it utterly transcends the descriptive capacity of even the four sacred Vedas. Though these scriptures stand as the foremost of all valid means of knowledge (pramāṇams), they can only conclude that His true nature is ultimately incomprehensible, for His divine and super-human activities (līlā)
