1178 ஒருகுறளாய் இருநிலம்மூவடிமண்வேண்டி
உலகனைத்தும்ஈரடியாலொடுக்கி * ஒன்றும்
தருகவெனாமாவலியைச்சிறையில்வைத்த
தாடாளன்தாளணைவீர்! * தக்ககீர்த்தி
அருமறையின்திரள்நான்கும்வேள்வியைந்தும்
அங்கங்கள்அவையாறும் இசைகளேழும் *
தெருவில்மலிவிழாவளமும்சிறக்கும் காழிச்

Simple Translation

1178. The one and only Lord who went to Mahabali’s sacrifice as a dwarf, took three feet of land from the king, measured the earth and the sky with his two feet and kept the king as his slave stays in ShriRāmavinnagaram where reciters of the four Vedās and the six Upanishads perform the five sacrifices and the people sing the seven kinds of music and celebrate many festivals on the streets. Go to that temple and worship his feet.

Detailed Explanation

The Supreme Lord, Śrīman Nārāyaṇa, in a display of His divine play, graciously assumed the form of Vāmana, a unique and enchanting young brahmacāri. He approached the great emperor Mahābali and, as a humble supplicant, begged for a mere three steps of land upon the vast and expansive earth. Subsequently, with His divine power, He revealed His cosmic Trivikrama form
