பாரணங்கிமிலேறேழுமுன்னடர்த்த
பனிமுகில்வண்ணன் எம்பெருமான் *
காரணந்தன்னால்கடும்புனல்கயத்த
கருவரைபிளவெழக்குத்தி *
வாரணங்கொணர்ந்தகங்கையின்கரைமேல்

Simple Translation

983. Once, to win Nappinnai, the lady with a slender waist and fish-like eyes, He tamed seven fierce bulls in one bold act, frightening all who watched. My Lord, who is cloud-dark in form, now lives in Badarikāśramam, on the banks of the sacred Ganga, who splits the mountains and brings even elephants in her wild course because of Bhagiratha’s penance.
