Simple Translation

1039. Once, You destroyed the demon race that ruled Lanka and made them fall, by riding with Garuda as Your flag. At Thiruvēṅkaṭam, where moon and sun veer away from the mountain’s towering peaks, You dwell, wearing a divine crown and the sacred tulasi garlands. Mercifully protect me.
