Simple Translation
724. You, the dark jewel of Kannapuram where learned men live,
the king of Ayodhya and the wonderful helper of the sages,
left the desires of worldly life and went to the terrible forest,
obeying the words of your step-mother,
as all your relatives followed you.
O auspicious Rāma, thālelo, thālelo.
