எம்பிரானுக்கே எழுமையும் பித்தன்

673 எம்பரத்தரல்லாரொடும் கூடலன் *
உம்பர்வாழ்வை ஒன்றாகக்கருதிலன் *
தம்பிரானமரர்க்கு * அரங்கநகர்
எம்பிரானுக்கு எழுமையுமபித்தனே.

Simple Translation

673.I will not seek the company of those who are not His devotees. Nor do I long for the life of the gods above. In all my seven births I want to be an ardent devotee of my dear god of the gods in divine Srirangam.

எம் பரத்தர் — என் போன்ற அடியாராக; அல்லாரொடும் — இல்லாதவரோடு; கூடலன் — நான் கூடமாட்டேன்; உம்பர் — தேவர்களின் சொர்க்கம் முதலிய; வாழ்வை — செல்வத்தை; ஒன்றாக — ஒரு பொருளாகக் கருத மாட்டேன்; அமரர்க்கு — அமர்களுக்கு; தம்பிரான் — தலைவனாய்; அரங்க நகர் — அரங்க நகர்; எம்பிரானுக்கு — பெருமானுக்கு; எழுமையும் — ஏழ்பிறப்பிலும்; பித்தனே — பித்தனாவேன்

I shall not associate with those who do not belong to our Highest One.
I shall not consider as worthy of regard the happy life of the celestials. [I am] the madman of our Lord, He of Raṅgam, the Lord of the immortals, for all seven births.
