பிறவி நோய்க்கு மருந்தளிக்கும் மருத்துவன்

458 எருத்துக்கொடியுடையானும் பிரமனும்இந்திரனும் * மற்றும்
ஒருத்தரும்இப்பிறவியென்னும்நோய்க்கு மருந்தறிவாருமில்லை *
மருத்துவனாய்நின்றமாமணிவண்ணா! மறுபிறவிதவிரத்
திருத்தி * உங்கோயிற்கடைப்புகப்பெய் திருமாலிருஞ்சோலையெந்தாய்!

Simple Translation

458. Shivā who has the bull in his flag, Brahmā, Indra and no one else know the cure for the sickness which is birth. You, beautiful like a bright sapphire, are the healer who can cure this sickness. O my father, lord of Thirumālirunjolai, give me your grace so I may enter your abode and not be born again.

எருத்துக் கொடி — ரிஷபக் கொடியையுடைய; உடையானும் — ருத்திரனும் அவன் தந்தையான; பிரமனும் — பிரம்மாவும்; இந்திரனும் — தேவேந்திரனும்; மற்றும் ஒருத்தரும் — மற்றும் ஒருத்தரும்; இப்பிறவி என்னும் — இந்தப் பிறவி என்னும்; நோய்க்கு — வியாதிக்கு; மருந்து — மருந்து; அறிவாரும் இல்லை — அறிந்தவர் இல்லை; மருத்துவனாய் — மருந்தை அறிகின்றவனாய்; நின்ற — இருக்கின்ற; மா மணி — நீலமணி போன்ற; வண்ணா! — வடிவையுடையவனே!; மறு பிறவி — எனக்கு மறுபிறவி; தவிர — நேராதபடி; திருத்தி — திருத்தம் செய்து; உன் கோயில் — உன் கோயில்; கடைப் புக — வாசலில் இருந்து வாழும்படி; பெய் — செய்தருளவேண்டும்; திருமாலிருஞ்சோலை — திருமாலிருஞ்சோலை; எந்தாய்! — பிரானே!
