அசுரர்களை ஆழியால் அழித்தவனூர் திருவரங்கம்

407 கீழுலகில்அசுரர்களைக் கிழங்கிருந்துகிளராமே *
ஆழிவிடுத்துஅவருடைய கருவழித்தவழிப்பனூர் *
தாழைமடலூடுரிஞ்சித் தவளவண்ணப்பொடியணிந்து *
யாழினிசைவண்டினங்கள் ஆளம்வைக்கும்அரங்கமே.

Simple Translation

407. Srirangam is the divine abode of the Lord who went to the underworld and destroyed the asuras and uprooted their clan with His discus(chakra) This is the place where bees buzz like lutes and drink honey from the petals of screw pine flowers and are covered with the coral-like pollen.
