515 இன்றுமுற்றும்முதுகுநோவ இருந்திழைத்தஇச் சிற்றிலை *
நன்றும்கண்ணுற நோக்கிநாங்கொளும் ஆர்வந்தன்னைத் தணிகிடாய் *
அன்றுபாலகனாகி ஆலிலைமேல்துயின்றஎம்மாதியாய்! *
என்றுமுன்றனக்கெங்கள்மேல் இரக்கம்மெழாததெம்பாவமே.

515 iṉṟu muṟṟum mutuku nova * iruntu izhaitta icciṟṟilai *

Simple Translation

515. We worked all day to build these sand houses and our backs hurt. Look at our sand houses. They make us happy. O ancient one who slept on a banyan leaf as a baby, it is a pity that you are not kind to us. Do not come and destroy our little sand houses.
