அசுரர்களை அழித்த கண்ணனைக் கண்டோம்

645 நாட்டைப்படையென்று அயன்முதலாத்தந்த நளிர்மாமலருந்தி *
வீட்டைப்பண்ணிவிளையாடும் விமலன்றன்னைக்கண்டீரே? *
காட்டைநாடித்தேனுகனும் களிறும்புள்ளுமுடன்மடிய *

Simple Translation

645. “He created Nānmuhan on a beautiful lotus growing from his navel, so that Nānmuhan could create the whole world. Did you see the faultless lord who created this world and plays in it?” “We saw Him fighting and killing the demon Thenuhan the elephant Kuvalayāpeedam and Bakasura in the forest. We saw him in Brindavan (Mathura). ”

Detailed Explanation

Avathārikai (Introduction)

In this introductory verse, the Gopikā joyfully proclaims that she and her companions were blessed with the divine vision of Lord Kṛṣṇa. They beheld Him in the sacred groves of Śrī Vṛndāvana, returning victorious after having hunted and destroyed the demonic asuras who had deceptively assumed the forms of beasts.
