Have you beheld Kaṇṇan, who, having departed from my side, left me engulfed in sorrow, yet thrives joyously in Śrī Gokulam, his form redolent with the fragrance of butter, resembling a vigorous young bull, and tending to the cows with great care? Indeed, we have seen Him, frolicking with His companions in Vṛndāvanam, adorned with the pale-hued Vanamālai [divine garland] upon His dark, divine form, evoking the splendid vision of lightning accompanying a cloud.
