I find myself ensnared in the divine embrace of the Supreme Being, who, in His boundless compassion, manifested as the infant reclining on a delicate banyan leaf. Cease imparting to me the worldly discourses that pierce my soul like a spear. Instead, procure the fresh, lustrous, and cooling tulasī garland from Kaṇṇan, who reposes in Thirukkudandhai and once tenderly herded cows with a guiding staff. Adorn my gentle locks with this sacred garland.
