Simple Translation

The chief of Villiputhur, Vishnuchittan's Kodai, composed pāsurams about how she (Andal) whose eyebrows are lovelier than bows, loved the dear Kannan, the bright light of the cowherd village of Gokulam and how He gave her pangs of love. Those who learn these pāsurams that describe her divine love for the dear God and worship Him will not suffer in the ocean of sorrow.
