should ī get an opportunity —

the one who has the belligerent divine disc on his hands —

 battle-ready thiruvāzhi (divine chakra) —

will say that water is sweeter than those pursuits such as ṣabdham etc —

having both narathva (human-s aspects) and simhathva (lion-s aspects) —

(later) going after worldly pleasures in the state of youth —

towards the divine feet of emperumān protecting the universe, being vatathal̤aṣāyi (resting on pipal leaf), with agadithagatanā sāmarthyam (ability to unite opposing aspects) —

the soft divine feet, which are like flowers —

divine feet which are like lotus flowers —

(during the time of thrivikrama avathāram) the divine foot which spread out, on its own, to various places and measured them —

for such agreeable people —

I will bathe Him —

if they are regarded as “our servitors” —

the divine feet of emperumān who is reclining, holding the incomparable sudharṣana chakkaram (divine disc) —

 kindly accept my service. —

one who created for me (the experiencing of your) enjoyment! —

in the battlefield which contains warriors and victory —

 which can destroy men —

 you should rule me by embracing with your vast chest; —

saying that you would drink to your stomach’s content, thus drinking (her life along with her milk) —
