அன்னங்காள்! பிரானிடம் எனது நிலை கூறியருள்க

3748 தகவன்றென்றுரையீர்கள் தடம்புனல்வாயிரைதேர்ந்து *
மிகவின்பம்படமேவும் மென்னடையஅன்னங்காள் *
மிகமேனிமெலிவெய்தி மேகலையும்ஈடழிந்து * என்
அகமேனியொழியாமே திருமூழிக்களத்தார்க்கே.

Simple Translation

Oh swans of gentle gait, moving merrily in fertile fields in search of food, go to the Lord in Tirumūḻikkaḷam and tell Him it is hardly fair that He should despise me. Only then can I retain my body, the saree upon it, and my inner soul.

• thagavu anṛu enṛu uraiyīrgazh - You should assert to him that he is not devoid of compassion to the extent of annihilating his own essence. Indeed, he appears unmerciful. Since compassion constitutes his very nature, and she, being privy to his profound secrets, accuses him of being merciless.
