In the second pāsuraṁ of this chapter, the esteemed ācāryas, beginning with Nanjīyar, explain that the mother of Parāṅkuśa Nāyaki, overwhelmed by the anguish of separation, turns to the myna birds in her courtyard and pours forth her lament, questioning them, "Would my daughter, who has entered the glorious abode of Thirukkōḷūr, ever return to me?"
