திருமாலின் திருவருள் உணர்த்தப் பெற்றேன்

3868 இன்றென்னைப்பொருளாக்கித் தன்னைஎன்னுள் வைத்தான் *
அன்றென்னைப்புறம்போகப்புணர்த்தது என்செய்வான்? *
குன்றென்னத்திகழ்மாடங்கள்சூழ் திருப்பேரான் *
ஒன்றெனக்கருள்செய்ய உணர்த்தலுற்றேனே.

Simple Translation

3868. The Lord, now dwelling steadfastly in my mind at Tiruppēr, surrounded by majestic mansions, has finally turned His attention to me after neglecting and overlooking me for ages. I wonder why He kept His eyes closed to me all this time but now showers upon me His abundant grace. Would He kindly explain one or the other to me?

In the preceding pāśurams of this chapter, Śrī Nammāzhvār has been immersed in the bliss of divine union. Now, in this ninth verse, a profound question arises in his heart.
