Simple Translation

The Lord, now dwelling steadfastly in my mind at Tiruppēr, surrounded by majestic mansions, has finally turned His attention to me after neglecting and overlooking me for ages. I wonder why He kept His eyes closed to me all this time but now showers upon me His abundant grace. Would He kindly explain one or the other to me?
