கண்ணா! நீ அசுரர்களுடன் போரிட நேரலாம்: போகாதே

மிகப்பலவசுரர்கள்வேண்டுமுருவங்கொண்டு
நின்றுஉழிதருவர்கஞ்சனேவ *

Simple Translation

My Lord, we are not the jealous sort who would begrudge Your affection for others. When You revel in their company, we will be elated too. Therefore, please refrain from tending the cows. There is also the lurking danger of Kaṃsa’s agents, who roam about in unknown forms. If You were to encounter them while with the cows, I fear what might happen. Alas, I cannot say. Please heed my advice and do not follow the cows.
