3797. Speak openly and without hesitation: what penance do those who worship the Lord with choice flowers in Aṉantapuram perform? This sacred place, well adorned with fertile fields and fragrant gardens, surrounded by vast oceanic waters, is where the Lord delightfully dwells.

The Āzhvār extols those that have the good fortune to worship the Lord at Tiruvaṉantapuram whose gardens are so full of fragrance that it more than offsets the possible stench of the sea around.
