914 அமரவோரங்கமாறும் வேதமோர்நான்குமோதி *
தமர்களில் தலைவராய சாதியந்தணர்களேலும் *
நுமர்களைப்பழிப்பராகில் நொடிப்பதோரளவில் * ஆங்கே
அவர்கள்தாம் புலையர்போலும் அரங்கமாநகருளானே!

914. O lord of beautiful Srirangam, if even Vediyars of the highest caste who recite the six divine Upanishads and the four Vedās disgrace your devotees, they will become Caṇḍālas in a moment.
