839. My generous lord churned the milky ocean,
using the mountain for a churning stick,
a turtle to support the mountain
and the white-fanged snake Vāsuki for the rope.
He took the nectar that came from the ocean,
gave it to the gods in the sky,
and took away their troubles.
I will not worship any one except him.
