2697. The daughter says, “I prattle on because I saw his dark cloud-like body.

நான் அவனை — நானோ அவன்; கார் ஆர் — கரிய; திருமேனி — திருமேனியை; கண்டதுவே — வணங்கியதே; காரணமா — காரணமாக; பேரா — அவன் பெயரை; பிதற்றா — பிதற்றிக் கொண்டு; திரிதருவன் — திரிகிறேன்; பின்னையும் — அதற்கு மேல்

nān — ī (meanwhile); avanai — his; kār ār thirumĕni kaṇdadhuvĕ kāraṇamā — worshipping his blackish form, as the reason; pĕrā pidhaṝā pinnaiyum thiri tharuvan — transforming (from thirumangai āzhvār, as a male, to parakāla nāyagi, as a female), talking incoherently, and furthermore, roaming around [aimlessly]
