இராமானுசன் எனக்கு நன் ஞானம் அளித்தான்

3995 வளர்ந்தவெங்கோப மடங்கலொன்றாய் * அன்று வாளவுணன்
கிளர்ந்தபொன்னாகங் கிழித்தவன் * கீர்த்திப் பயிரெழுந்து
விளைந்திடுஞ்சிந்தையிராமானுசன் என்தன்மெய்வினைநோய்
களைந்து நன்ஞானமளித்தனன் * கையிற்கனியென்னவே.

Simple Translation

3995. The lord who took the form of an angry lion and split open the chest of Hiranyan, gave Ramānja to the world whose fame that flourished like a crop in a field. As if he were putting a fruit in my hand and giving it to me, Rāmānujā gave me good wisdom and helped me remove the affliction of my karmā.
