  • Verse 35:
    2747. Vānan, the king of the Asurans with a shining sword ruled a golden country that was like Indra’s world and conquered the whole earth surrounded by the oceans. His daughter Usha, was more beautiful than any other woman. (37)
  • Verse 36:
    2748. Her dear friend Chitralekha, grabbed Aniruddha, the son of lord Māyavan Kannan, who wears the thulasi garland on his lovely mountain-like arms. Then she brought Aniruddha to her so that he could be happy with her. O friends, haven’t you heard this story? (38 -39)
