அரியே ஆதிமூலம்

2655 இனிநின்று நின்பெருமை யானுரைப்பதென்னே? *
தனிநின்றசார்விலாமூர்த்தி! * - பனிநீர்
அகத்துலவு செஞ்சடையானாகத்தான் * நான்கு
முகத்தான் நின்னுந்திமுதல்.

2655 iṉi niṉṟu niṉ pĕrumai * yāṉ uraippatu ĕṉṉe? *

Simple Translation

2655. How can I describe your power? Shivā with beautiful jata stays in the left part of your body and Brahmā stays on a lotus on your navel, and there is no one to match you who do not depend on anything.

தனி நின்ற — தானே அனைத்துக்கும் காரணமானவனும்; சார்வு — வேறு ஒருவரும் தனக்கு ஆதாரமாக; இலா — இல்லாதவனுமான; மூர்த்தி! — நீயே முழுமுதற்கடவுள்; பனி நீர் அகத்து — குளிர்ந்த கங்கையை; உலவு செஞ்சடையான் — சடையில் கொண்டுள்ள சிவன்; ஆகத்தான் — உன் திருமேனியை ஆச்ரயித்து வாழ்பவன்; நான்கு முகத்தான் — பிரமனோ; நின் உந்தி முதல் — உன் நாபிக் கமலத்தில் வாழ்பவன்; இனி நின் பெருமை — இதற்கு மேல் உன் பெருமையை; யான் நின்று — நான் முயன்று; உரைப்பது என்னே? — உரைக்க என்ன இருக்கிறது?

thani ninṛa — standing as a unique, causative factor, during the time of mahāpral̤ayam (great deluge); sārvu ilā — not having anyone as a refuge for him; mūrththi — ŏh my lord!; pani nīr agaththulavu — having the cool gangā (river ṅanges) which is flowing inside; sem sadaiyān — siva who has reddish matted hair; āgaththān — resides in a corner of your divine form; nāngu mugaththān — brahmā, who has four faces; nin undhi mudhal — has your divine navel as the cause for his existence; ini — when things are like these; yān ninṛu — ī, taking efforts; nin perumai — your greatness; uraippadhu ennĕ — how to talk about?
