நரசிம்மன் என் வினையை மாற்ற மாட்டானா?

2641 வழித்தங்குவல்வினையை மாற்றானோ? நெஞ்சே! *
தழீஇக்கொண்டு போரவுணன்தன்னை * - சுழித்தெங்கும்
தாழ்விடங்கள்பற்றிப் புலால்வெள்ளந்தானுகள *
வாழ்வடங்கமார்விடந்தமால்.

Simple Translation

2641. O heart, Thirumāl split open the heart of Hiranyan and blood flowed like a flood from the Asuran’s chest and he was destroyed. Won’t he take away the results of our karmā and give us his grace?

நெஞ்சே! — ஒமனமே!; போர் — போர்க்களத்தில்; அவுணன் தன்னை — இரணியனை; தழீ இக்கொண்டு — தழுவிக்கொண்டு; புலால் வெள்ளம் — ரத்த வெள்ளம்; தாழ்வு இடங்கள் பற்றி — பள்ள நிலங்களைப் பற்றி; எங்கும் சுழித்து உகள — எங்கும் சுழித்து ஓடச்செய்து; வாழ்வு — அந்த இரணியனின்; அடங்க — வாழ்க்கை முடியும்படி; மார்வு இடந்த — அவன் மார்பை; மால் தான் — பிளந்த பெருமான்; வழி தங்கு — என் உய்வுக்குத் தடையாக வழியில் நிற்கும்; வல் வினையை — கொடிய பாபங்களை; மாற்றானோ? — போக்கியருள மாட்டானோ?

nenjĕ — ŏh mind!; pŏr — in the battle; avuṇan thannai — the demon hiraṇya kashyap; thazhīkkoṇdu — hugging him tightly; thāzhvu idangal̤ engum paṝi — pervading all the low lying places; pulāl vel̤l̤am thān — the flood of blood; suzhiththu ugal̤a — flowing with a swirl; vāzhvu adanga — ensuring that the demon’s arrogance of wealth would be suppressed; mārvu idandha — one who tore the chest; māl — the supreme being; vazhi thangu — residing by other means; val vanaiyai — ignorance etc which have lot of strength; māṝānŏ — will he not remove?
