வைகுந்தத்திலும் இனியது திருமாலின் புகழை நினைத்தல்

2637 ஒன்றுண்டுசெங்கண்மால்! யானுரைப்பது * உன்னடியார்க்கு
என்செய்வனென்றேயிருத்திநீ * - நின்புகழில்
வைகும் தம்சிந்தையிலும்மற்றினிதோ? * நீயவர்க்கு
வைகுந்தமென்றருளும்வான்.

Simple Translation

2637. O lovely-eyed Thirumāl, I would tell you something. You have given everything that your devotees want and are waiting to know what else they may want. Don’t you know that praising you and keeping you in their hearts is better for them than going to Vaikuntam?

செங்கண்மால்! — சிவந்த கண்களையுடைய திருமாலே!; யான் உரைப்பது — அடியேன் விண்ணப்பம் செய்வது; ஒன்று உண்டு — ஒன்று உண்டு; அவர்க்கு — நீ அடியவர்களுக்கு; வைகுந்தம் என்று — வைகுண்டமென்று; அருளும் வான்? — சொல்லி பரமபதத்தை அருளுகிறாய்; நீ உன்அடியார்க்கு — நீயோவென்றால் அடியார்களுக்கு; என் செய்வன் — இன்னும் என்ன நன்மை செய்யலாம்; என்றே இருத்தி நீ — என்றே திருப்தி பெறாமல் நிற்கிறாய்; நின் — பரமபதத்தைக் காட்டிலும்; புகழில் — உன் குணங்களில்; வைகும் தம் — ஈடுபட்டிருப்பதே; சிந்தையிலும் — அடியேன் மனதிற்கு; மற்று இனிதோ — சிறந்ததாகவும் இனியதாகவும் தோன்றுகிறது

sem kaṇ māl — ŏh one who has reddish eyes and who is biased towards your followers!; yān uraippadhu — what ī have to tell (you); onṛu uṇdu — there is a word; nī — you; un adiyārkku — for those who have love towards you; en seyvan enṛĕ iruththi — you are constantly thinking as to what benefit you could do; maṝu avarkku — for them; nin pugazhil vaigum — being engaged with your auspicious qualities; tham sindhaiyilum — more than their mind [thought]; vaigundham enṛu nī arul̤um vān — the (huge) paramapadham which you bestow on them; inidhŏ — is it sweeter?
