மாயனை வாழ்த்தி மனத்துயர் போகுக

2627 அவயமெனநினைந்து வந்தசுரர்பாலே *
நவையைநளிர்விப்பான்தன்னை * - கவையில்
மனத்துயரவைத்திருந்து வாழ்த்தாதார்க்குண்டோ? *

Simple Translation

2627. When the gods came to him asking for refuge he took away their troubles and protected them. How can the distress in the minds of those who do not worship him be removed?

அவயம் என — அபயம் வேண்டி; நினைந்து வந்த — சரணம் அடைந்த; சுரர் பாலே — தேவர்களின்; நவையை — குற்றம் குறைகளை; நளிர் விப்பான் — போக்கும்; தன்னை — எம்பெருமானை; கவை இல் மனத்து — பிளவில்லாத மனதை; உயர — பரிபூர்ணமாக; வைத்திருந்து — வைத்துக் கொண்டு; வாழ்த்தா தார்க்கு — பெருமானை வாழ்த்தாதவர்களுக்கு; மனத் துயரை — மனத் துயரை; மாய்க்கும் — போக்கிக்கொள்ள; வகை உண்டோ? — வழி உண்டோ?

avayam ena ninaindhu — thinking (of you) as the refuge; vandha surar pālĕ — with the dhĕvathas (celestial entities) who came; navaiyai — sorrows; nal̤irvippān thannai — sarvĕṣvaran who made (the sorrows) to tremble; kavai il manaththu — in the mind without any doubt; uyara vaiththu — holding aloft; irundhu — being stable; vāzhththādhārkku — those who do not praise; manam thuyarai māykkum vagai uṇdŏ — is there any way by which they can remove mental agonies?
