என் மனம் திருமாலைத் தீண்டிவிட்டது

2604 காணப்புகிலறிவு கைக்கொண்டநல்நெஞ்சம் *
நாணப்படுமன்றே? நாம்பேசில் * - மாணி
யுருவாகிக்கொண்டு உலகம்நீரேற்றசீரான் *
திருவாகம்தீண்டிற்றுச்சென்று.

Simple Translation

2604. O intelligent good heart, As a dwarf, he went to Mahābali’s sacrifice and measured the world, and his body touched all the world. We should be ashamed to think we can earn his grace. The only way for us to get his grace is if he gives to us.

māṇi uruvāgik koṇdu — assuming the garb of a bachelor; ulagam — throughout the world; nīr ĕṝa sīrān — one who has great auspicious qualities and who took as alms; thiru āgam — his beautiful, divine, auspicious form; thīṇdiṝu — when it felt the entire world; nām kāṇappugil — even if we enquire; pĕsil — even if we attempt to speak; aṛivu kaikkoṇda nal nenjam — the superior mind which has knowledge; nāṇap padumanṛĕ — should it not feel shy?
