அடியார்கள் என்றும் வாழ்ந்திடுவர்

2601 சூழ்ந்தடியார்வேண்டினக்கால் தோன்றாதுவிட்டாலும் *
வாழ்ந்திடுவர்பின்னும்தம்வாய்திறவார் * - சூழ்ந்தெங்கும்
வாள்வரைகள்போலரக்கன் வன்தலைகள்தாமிடிய *
தாள்வரைவில்லேந்தினார்தாம்.

Simple Translation

2601. He carried his bow, fought with the Rakshasā Rāvana and cut off his strong mountain-like heads with his sword. When devotees worship him and ask him for a boon, whether he opens his mouth and says anything or not, he gives them whatever they want and gives them life.

engum sūzhndhu — surrounding on all sides; vāl̤ varaigal̤ pŏl — similar to shiny mountains; thāl̤ varai vil — bow, like a mountain, reaching to his foot; ĕndhinār thām — emperumān who bore (the bow); sūzhndhu — taking many incarnations; adiyār vĕṇdinakkāl — when searching for those who are willing to be his servitors; thŏnṛādhu vittālum — even if he does not get any follower; vāzhndhiduvar — he will remain joyous; pinnum — even after (reaching paramapadham); tham vāy thiṛavār — he will not discuss this (with pirātti)
