வேறு யாருக்கும் நான் அடிமையாக மாட்டேன்

1631 வானார்மதிபொதியும்சடை மழுவாளியொடுஒருபால் *
தானாகியதலைவனவன் அமரர்க்கதிபதியாம் *
தேனார்பொழில்தழுவும் சிறுபுலியூர்ச்சலசயனத்து
ஆனாயனது * அடியல்லது ஒன்றுஅறியேன்அடியேனே.

Simple Translation

1631. Thirumāl, the lord of Indra the king of gods, who keeps with him the axe-carrying Shivā with the moon that floats in the sky in his matted hair - stays in the temple Salasayanam in Chirupuliyur surrounded with groves dripping with honey. I do not know anything but the feet of him, the cowherd.
