நம்பி! நான் உன்னையே அழைக்கின்றேன்

1549 வற்றாமுதுநீரொடு மால்வரையேழும் *
துற்றாமுன்துற்றிய தொல்புகழோனே! *
அற்றேன்அடியேன் உன்னையேஅழைக்கின்றேன் *

1549. Ancient and famous Lord of Naraiyur, you swallowed all the oceans that never dry and the seven hills. I have no one—I am your slave. I call you, I come to you. Give me your grace, my father and lord.
