மனத்திருந்த தேனே! உன்னையே சரணடைந்தேன்

1460 மானேய்நோக்கியர்தம் வயிற்றுக்குழியிலுழைக்கும் *
ஊனேயாக்கைதன்னை உதவாமைஉணர்ந்துணர்ந்து *
வானே! மாநிலமே! வந்துவந்துஎன்மனத்திருந்த
தேனே! * நின்னடைந்தேன் திருவிண்ண்ணகர்மேயவனே!

Simple Translation

1460. You are the sky, the earth, and honey. You came to me, entered my heart and remained there. I stayed in the womb of doe-eyed women and I stayed in this body made of flesh and I realized that births and this body will not give me the spiritual world. O god of Thiruvinnagar, I come to you—you are my refuge.

வானே! — விண் உலகுக்கும்; மானிலமே! — மண் உலகுக்கும் தலைவனே!; வந்து வந்து — நீ மனமுவந்து வந்து; என் மனத்திருந்த தேனே! — என் மனத்தில் இருப்பவனே!; மான் ஏய் — மானைப் போன்ற கண்களையுடைய; நோக்கியர் தம் — பெண்களின்; வயிற்றுக் குழியில் — கர்ப்பக் குழியில்; உழைக்கும் — இருந்து துன்பப் படும்; ஊன் ஏய் ஆக்கை தன்னை — சரீரத்தின்; உதவாமை — ஸாதனம் ஆகாமையை உதவாமையை; உணர்ந்து உணர்ந்து — நன்கு உணர்ந்து; நின் அடைந்தேன் — உன்னை வந்து அடைந்தேன்; திருவிண்ணகர் — திருவிண்ணகர்; மேயவனே — பெருமானே!
