1354. Our chief, our lord who carried Govardhanā mountain
as an umbrella to protect the cows from the storm,
fought with heroic Bānāsuran and cut off his strong arms,
and chased off Shivā and the enemy warriors
when they came to help the Asuran on the battlefield
stays happily in beautiful Pullambudangudi
surrounded with flourishing fields
and lovely neelam flowers that shed honey
for the swarms of bees to drink.
