திருவெள்ளக்குளத்து அண்ணா! என் துன்பம் துடை

1308 கண்ணார்கடல்போல் திருமேனிகரியாய்! *
நண்ணார்முனை வென்றிகொள்வார் மன்னுநாங்கூர் *
திண்ணார்மதிள்சூழ் திருவெள்ளக்குளத்துள்

Simple Translation

1308. You, the highest one with a divine body that is dark as the wide ocean stay in Thiruvellakkulam temple in Nāngur surrounded by strong walls whose kings conquer their enemies. I am your slave. Take away my troubles.

கண் ஆர் கடல் போல் — பரந்த கடல்போலே; கரியாய்! — கறுத்த அழகையும் கம்பீரத்தோடு கூடின; திருமேனி — திருமேனியுடையவனே!; நண்ணார் — சத்துருக்களை; முனை வென்றி — யுத்தத்திலே வெல்லும்; கொள்வார் மன்னு — அந்தணர் வாழும்; திண் ஆர் — திடமான; மதிள் சூழ் — மதிளாலே சூழ்ந்த; நாங்கூர் — திருநாங்கூரின்; திருவெள்ளக்குளத்துள் — திருவெள்ளக்குளத்தில் இருக்கும்; அண்ணா! அடியேன் — அண்ணா! அடியேனுடைய; இடரைக் களையாயே — துன்பங்களைப் போக்கவேண்டும்
