தசாவதாரம் எடுத்தவன் தங்கும் இடம்

1293 கெண்டையும்குறளும்புள்ளும் கேழலும்அரியும்மாவும் *
அண்டமும்சுடரும்அல்லாவாற்றலும்ஆயஎந்தை *
ஓண்டிறல்தென்னனோடவடவரசோட்டம்கண்ட *
திண்டிறலாளர்நாங்கூர்த் திருமணிக்கூடத்தானே.

Simple Translation

1293. Our father who is the earth, the sun, the moon and all other things and has taken the forms of a fish, a dwarf, a swan, a boar, a man-lion and a horse stays in the Thirumanikkudam temple in Nāngur where warriors chased off the northern Cholas and the strong southern Pandiyan kings and defeated them.

கெண்டையும் குறளும் — மத்ஸ்யமும் வாமனனும்; புள்ளும்கேழலும் — ஹம்ஸமும் வராஹமும்; அரியும் — நரசிம்மமும்; மாவும் — ஹயக்ரீவனும் ஆகிய இவ்வவதாரங்களையுடையவனும்; அண்டமும் சுடரும் — அண்டமும் சூரியசந்திரர்களும்; அல்லா ஆற்றலும் — மற்றுமுள்ள எல்லா வஸ்துக்களிலுமிருக்கும்; ஆய எந்தை — எம்பெருமான்; ஒண் திறல் — மிக்க பலத்தையுடைய; தென்னன் — தென் தேசத்துக்கு அரசனான பாண்டியன்; ஓட — ஓடும்படியாகவும்; வட அரசு — வடக்கேயுள்ள சோழ; ஓட்டம் கண்ட — அரசனை ஓடச் செய்தும்; திண் திறலாளர் — திடமான பலத்தையுடைய; நாங்கூர் — திருநாங்கூரின்; திருமணிக்கூடத் தானே — திருமணிக்கூடத்தில் உள்ளான்
