அட்டபுயகரத்தான் எனக்குக் காட்சி தந்தான்

1118 திரிபுரம்மூன்று எரித்தானும்
மற்றைமலர்மிசைமேல்அயனும்வியப்ப *
முரிதிரைமாகடல் போல்முழங்கி
மூவுலகும்முறையால்வணங்க *
எரியனகேசரவாளெயிற்றோடு
இரணியனாகம்இரண்டுகூறா *
அரியுருவாமிவரார்கொல்? என்ன
அட்டபுயகரத்தேனென்றாரே. (2)

Simple Translation

1118. She asked her neighbors, “The sound of worship of the people in the three worlds was like the roaring waves of the ocean when he came as a man-lion with sharp teeth and red hair shining like fire and split open the chest of the Asuran Hiranyan while Shivā, burner of the three forts, and Nānmuhan on the lotus saw and worshiped him. Who is he? Tell me. ” They replied, “He told us he is from Attapuyaharam. ”

திரிபுரம் மூன்று எரித்தானும் — திரிபுரம் எரித்த சிவனும்; மற்றை மலர்மிசை மேல் — தாமரையில் பிறந்த; அயனும் வியப்ப — பிரமனும் வியக்க; மூவுலகும் — மூன்று லோகங்களிலும் உள்ளவர்களும்; முரி திரை — அலைகளையுடைய; மா கடல் போல் — பெரும் கடலைப்போல்; முழங்கி — ஆரவாரத்துடன்; முறையால் வணங்க — முறைபடி வணங்க; இரணியன் ஆகம் — இரணியன் உடல்; இரண்டு கூறா — இரண்டு கூறாகும்படி; எரிஅன கேசர — நெருப்புப் போன்ற பிடரிமயிரையும்; வாள் எயிற்றோடு — வாள் போன்ற பற்கள் உடைய; அரி உரு ஆம் இவர் — நரசிம்ம உருவமுள்ள இப்பெரியவர்; ஆர்கொல்? என்ன — யார் என்று நான் கேட்க அவர்; அட்டபுயகரத்தேன் — நான் அட்டபுயகரத்தான்; என்றாரே — உனக்காக வந்தேன் என்றாரே!
