Those Who Read These Verses Shall Become Kings of Kings

இவற்றைப் படிப்போர் அரசர்க்கரசராவர்

1107 கடிகமழுநெடுமறுகில் கடல்மல்லைத்தலசயனத்து *
அடிகளடியேநினையும் அடியவர்கள்தம்அடியான் *
வடிகொள்நெடுவேல்வலவன் கலிகன்றியொலிவல்லார் *

Simple Translation

1107. In Thirukadalmallai, where sweet fragrance drifts through wide and beautiful streets, the Lord reclines on the ground. Those who think only of His divine feet and serve His devotees—they are the ones I serve. These verses were sung by Thirumangai Azhwār, the mighty one with a sharp spear. Those who recite these divine verses become leaders even among crowned kings.

This sublime chapter of the Tirumoḍal was graciously composed by the venerable Tirumaṅgai Āzhvār. Those who master the sacred verses contained herein are promised a reward of unparalleled spiritual majesty.
