பாவத்தை அழிக்கும் திருநீர்மலை

1086 பேசுமளவன்றுஇதுவம்மின்நமர்!
பிறர்கேட்பதன்முன், பணிவார்வினைகள் *
நாசமதுசெய்திடுமாதன்மையால்
அதுவேநமதுஉய்விடம் நாள்மலர்மேல்
வாசமணிவண்டறைபைம்புறவில்
மனமைந்தொடுநைந்துழல்வார் * மதியில்
நீசரவர்சென்றடையாதவனுக்குஇடம்
மாமலையாவதுநீர்மலையே.

நாசம் அது செய்திடும் ஆதன்மையால் * அதுவே நமது உய்விடம் நாள் மலர் மேல் **
வாசம் அணி வண்டு அறை பைம் புறவின் * மனம் ஐந்தொடு நைந்து உழல்வார் மதிஇல் *
நீசர் அவர் சென்று அடையாதவனுக்கு இடம் * மா மலை ஆவது நீர்மலையே 9

Simple Translation

1086. If you worship the god of Thiruneermalai whose fame surpasses words, even before Yama’s messengers know what your karmā is, that hill will destroy your karmā and protect you. He stays in those flourishing hills where lovely bees swarm around fragrant flowers in flourishing groves and where evil people caught in the pleasures of the five senses and mind cannot reach him.
