சிறுபிள்ளைத்தனம் உள்ளவன்; என்னை ஆட்கொள்

1034 தெரியேன்பாலகனாய்ப் பலதீமைகள்செய்துமிட்டேன் *
பெரியேனாயினபின் பிறர்க்கேயுழைத்துஏழையானேன் *
கரிசேர்பூம்பொழில்சூழ் கனமாமலைவேங்கடவா! *
அரியே! வந்தடைந்தேன் அடியேனை ஆட்கொண்டருளே.

Simple Translation

1034. O mighty lion of Thiruvēṅkaṭam, where firm mountains stand, encircled by flower-filled groves and roaming elephants! As a child, in ignorance, I committed many sins. When I grew older, I toiled for others and became poor. Now, weary and worn, I have come and surrendered at Your feet. O Lord who dwells on the sacred hill, take me in—this servant who has no one else.

O Lord, You who reside eternally upon the sacred hill of Tirumalā! This mighty and unshakeable mountain is Your chosen abode, encircled by celestial gardens perpetually in bloom, a place of divine splendor where majestic elephants (kari) roam freely in joyful sport.
