பாவங்களே செய்தவன்; எனினும் என்னை அடிமைகொள்

1032 எப்பாவம்பலவும் இவையேசெய்துஇளைத்தொழிந்தேன் *
துப்பா! நின்னடியே தொடர்ந்தேத்தவும்கிற்கின்றிலேன் *
செப்பார்திண்வரைசூழ் திருவேங்கடமாமலை * என்
அப்பா! வந்தடைந்தேன் அடியேனை ஆட்கொண்டருளே.

Simple Translation

1032. O my Lord, the mighty One. You have a firm resolve, shining like radiant copper! You dwell in Thiruvēṅkaṭam, a sacred hill surrounded by towering peaks. I have committed countless sins and grown weary from their burden. I lack the strength to follow Your feet or sing Your praise with true devotion. Yet still, I have come to You. Please accept me, this lowly servant, and make me Yours.

செப்புஆர் திண் — செப்புப் போன்ற திடமான; வரை சூழ் — மலைகளாலே சூழப்பட்ட; திருவேங்கட மாமலை — திருமலையிலிருப்பவனே!; துப்பா! — சக்தியுடையவனே!; என் அப்பா! — என் நாதனே!; எப்பாவம் பலவும் — பலவித பாபங்களை; இவையே செய்து — செய்து; இளைத்தொழிந்தேன் — இளைத்தொழிந்தேன்; நின் அடியே — உன் திருவடிகளை; தொடர்ந்து ஏத்தவும் — பின்பற்றி பக்தியுடன்; கிற்கின்றிலேன் — துதிக்கவும் சக்தியற்றவனானேன்; வந்து அடைந்தேன் — உன்னையே வந்து அடைந்தேன்; அடியேனை — தொண்டனான என்னை; ஆட்கொண்டருளே — ஆட்கொண்டருளவேணும்

seppu ār — like copper which is protective; thiṇ — firm; varai — by hills; sūzh — surrounded; thiruvĕngada mā malai — being the one who is having thirumalā as his abode; en — for followers like me; appā — ŏh benefactor!; thuppā — ŏh one who is capable!; eppāvam palavum ivaiyĕ — these many types of sins; seydhu — performed; il̤aiththozhindhĕn — became sorrowful (on hearing about the results of such sins); nin adi — your highness- divine feet; thudarndhu — followed; ĕththavum — to surrender with bhakthi; kiṛkinṛilĕn — being incapable; vandhu adaindhĕn — ī came and surrendered;; adiyĕnai āt koṇdu arul̤ — kindly accept my service.

எப்பாவம் பலவும் இவையே செய்து இளைத்து ஒழிந்தேன் துப்பா நின்னடியே தொடர்ந்து ஏத்தவும் கிற்கின்றிலேன் செப்பார் திண் வரை சூழ் திருவேங்கட மா மலை என் அப்பா வந்தடைந்தேன் அடியேனை யாட் கொண்டருளே-1-9-5-

இளைத்து ஒழிந்தேன்-பாப பலன்களை அனுபவித்து அதனால் இளைக்க அன்றி கேட்டே இளைத்தேன்
