1037 கண்ணாய்ஏழுலகுக்குஉயிராய எங்கார்வண்ணனை *
விண்ணோர் தாம்பரவும் பொழில்வேங்கடவேதியனை *
திண்ணார்மாடங்கள்சூழ் திருமங்கையர்கோன்கலியன் *

Simple Translation

1037. He is the eye and the breath of all seven worlds, our Lord of rain-cloud hue, who gives joy to His devotees. Revealed in the Vedas, known to the wise, even the nitya-sūrīs sing His praise. He who dwells in Thiruvēṅkaṭam, surrounded by fragrant groves. These ten verses are set in graceful tune by Kaliyan, the chief of Thirumangai. Those who recite and cherish them, no trace of sin shall ever remain.

ஏழு உலகுக்கு — ஏழு உலகங்களுக்கும்; கண் ஆய் — கண் போன்றவனும்; உயிர் ஆய — உயிர் போன்றவனும்; எம் கார் — மேகம் போன்ற; வண்ணனை — நிறத்தையுடையவனும்; விண்ணோர் தாம் — நித்ய ஸூரிகளும்; பரவும் — வந்து துதிக்க; பொழில் — சோலை சூழ்ந்த; வேங்கட — திருமலையிலே இருக்கும்; வேதியனை — வேதத்தால் சொல்லப்படும் பெருமானை; திண் ஆர் மாடங்கள் — திடமான மாடங்கள்; சூழ் — சூழ்ந்த திருமங்கையில்; திருமங்கையர் கோன் — திருமங்கை மன்னன்; கலியன் — என்கிற திருமங்கை ஆழ்வார்; பண்ணார் — அருளிச்செய்த பண்ணோடு கூடிய; பாடல் பத்தும் — பத்துப் பாசுரங்களையும்; பயில்வார்க்கு — கற்பவர்களுக்கு; இல்லை பாவங்களே — பாவங்கள் தொலைந்து போகும்

ĕzh ulagukku — for the seven worlds; kaṇṇāy — like eyes; uyirāy — being like prāṇan (vital air); em — to give enjoyment for us, the devotees; kār — cloud like; vaṇṇan — having divine complexion; viṇṇŏr thām — even nithyasūris; paravum — praise; pozhil — having gardens; vĕngadam — being the resident of thirumalā; vĕdhiyanai — on sarvĕṣvaran, who is spoken by vĕdham; thiṇ ār — firm; mādangal̤ sūzh — surrounded by mansions; thirumangaiyar — for the residents of thirumangai region; kŏn — the king; kaliyan — mercifully spoken by āzhvār; paṇ ār — having tune; paththup pādalum — ten pāsurams; payilvārkku — those who learn and practice; pāvangal̤ — hurdles; illai — will be destroyed.
