994 ஏனோர் அஞ்சவெஞ்சமத்துள் அரியாய்ப்பரியஇரணியனை *
ஊனாரகலம்பிளவெடுத்த ஒருவன் தானேஇருசுடராய் *
வானாய்த்தீயாய்மாருதமாய் மலையாய்அலைநீருலகனைத்தும்
தானாய் * தானுமானாந்தன் சாளக்கிராமம்அடை நெஞ்சே!

Simple Translation

994. To make the demons tremble, He became fierce Narasimha, and tore apart the chest of Hiraṇya in a blazing battle. He is the sun and moon, the fire and sky, the mountains and roaring seas. He is all the worlds and more. This wondrous Lord with a divine form and incomparable strength dwells in ŚālakkiRāmam. O heart, go! Seek that sacred place!

ஏனோர் — சத்துருக்களான அசுரர்கள்; அஞ்ச — பயப்படும்படியாக; அரி ஆய் — நரசிம்ம மூர்த்தியாகி; வெம் சமத்துள் — கடுமையான போரில்; பரிய — பருத்த சரீரத்தையுடைய; இரணியனை — இரணியனை; ஊன் ஆர் அகலம் — பருத்த மார்பு; பிளவு எடுத்த ஒருவன் — கிழியும்படி செய்தவனும்; தானே இரு சுடர் ஆய் — தானே சந்த்ர ஸூர்யர்களாயும்; வான் ஆய் தீயாய் — ஆகாசமாயும் அக்னியாயும்; மாருதம் ஆய் — வாயுவாயும்; மலை ஆய் அலை நீர் — மலையாயும் கடலாயும்; உலகு — உலகங்கள்; அனைத்தும் — அனைத்துமாய் இருப்பவனும்; தான் ஆய் தானும் — அஸாதாரணமான திவ்யமங்கள; ஆனான் — விக்ரஹத்தையுடைய; தன் — எம்பெருமான் இருக்கும் இடம்; சாளக்கிராமம் — திவ்ய தேசமாகிய சாளக்கிராமத்தை; அடை நெஞ்சே! — ஓ மனமே! நீ அடைவாய்
