729. Kulasekharan the mighty king
who sits under a royal umbrella and carries a murderous spear
composed these ten pāsurams, a garland of Tamil lullabies
describing the lord of the Kakutstha dynasty,
the god of Kannapuram surrounded by good strong new walls.
If devotees learn and recite these ten pāsurams
they will become dear to him.
