வேங்கட மலையுள் சிகரமாக இருக்கவேண்டும்

682 மின்னனையநுண்ணிடையார் உருப்பசியும்மேனகையும் *
அன்னவர்தம்பாடலொடும் ஆடலவையாதரியேன் *
தென்னவெனவண்டினங்கள் பண்பாடும்வேங்கடத்துள் *
அன்னனையபொற்குவடாம் அருந்தவத்தெனாவனே.

Simple Translation

682. I do not want to enjoy the dance and songs of the heavenly women Urvashi and Menaka, with waists as thin as lightning. I want to have the good fortune of being a golden peak in the Thiruvenkatam hills where bees swarm , buzz and sing His praise.

I shall not wish for those.

I shall have the rare [fruit of] tapas of becoming such a golden mountain as Veṅkaṭa, in which swarms of bees hum the paṇ-melody saying ‘teṉṉa’.
