I Must Exist as a Peak upon Vēṅkaṭam Hill

வேங்கட மலையுள் சிகரமாக இருக்கவேண்டும்

682 மின்னனையநுண்ணிடையார் உருப்பசியும்மேனகையும் *
அன்னவர்தம்பாடலொடும் ஆடலவையாதரியேன் *
தென்னவெனவண்டினங்கள் பண்பாடும்வேங்கடத்துள் *
அன்னனையபொற்குவடாம் அருந்தவத்தெனாவனே.

Simple Translation

682. I do not want to enjoy the dance and songs of the heavenly women Urvashi and Menaka, with waists as thin as lightning. I want to have the good fortune of being a golden peak in the Thiruvenkatam hills where bees swarm , buzz and sing His praise.

Avathārikai (Introduction)

In the preceding pāśuram, the Āzhvār expressed a profound desire to be transformed into a tree upon the sacred hills of Tirumalai. However, upon deeper reflection, he recognizes the inherent limitation of such a form. A tree, though blessed to be on those slopes, still has a finite lifespan; it would eventually wither and be destroyed,
