என்னை உனக்கு உரித்தாக்கினாய்

471 பனிக்கடலில்பள்ளிகோளைப் பழகவிட்டு * ஓடிவந்துஎன்
மனக்கடலில்வாழவல்ல மாயமணாளநம்பீ! *
தனிக்கடலே! தனிச்சுடரே! தனியுலகே! என்றென்று *
உனக்கிடமாயிருக்க என்னைஉனக்குஉரித்தாக்கினையே. (2)

471 paṉik kaṭalil pal̤l̤i- kol̤aip * pazhakaviṭṭu * oṭivantu ĕṉ
maṉak kaṭalil vāzha valla * māya maṇāl̤a nampī ! **
taṉik kaṭale taṉic cuṭare! * taṉi ulake ĕṉṟu ĕṉṟu *

Simple Translation

471. Leaving your snake bed on the cool ocean, You have hastened to come and reside in the ocean of my heart. You are the beloved of Lakshmi! O! Unique ocean! (of eternal grace and compassion) Unique Light! Unique world! The entire cosmos ( all places) is yours. You made my heart your abode and you own me.
